To all our clients, notice that the following statements are effective immediately and for ALL your present and future visits.

Dulce Luna Massage And Wellness values our clients and understands that unanticipated events happen occasionally. However, we desire to be fair, respectful, and considerate with all our customers and therapists, so we suggest planning accordingly to avoid charges.

Cancellation Policy:
If you cannot keep an appointment, you understand that a 24-hour notice is required. Otherwise, you will charge for the total amount of the time reserved, and the payment must be immediate.

No-shows Policy:
Clients who fail to attend appointments will charge the total amount of the reserved time. Therefore, our therapists must compensate incompletely for their lost time.

Late Arrivals Policy:
If you arrive late, we regret that you will not receive an extension of the schedule. The session may reduce to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. We will determine if there is enough time to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment given, you will be responsible for the entire payment session.

Refund Policy
We desire that you have the best of us and that your visit evolves into an outstanding experience, though if you feel uncomfortable, insecure, or believe this approach is not for you. Therefore, we give you the first 15 minutes to end the session without compromising payment. However, if you decide to continue after this time, we acknowledge that you agree with the procedure and won’t be any complaints from your side, and you must pay for the whole therapy.
The State of Texas requires the following statements.

The administrative code requires Massage Therapists to provide a consultation document to each client before therapy sessions, if the client’s reason for seeking therapy changes, or before each session in which breast massage will perform unless written consent is received on a separate document.

The client understands that the information will use only to provide safe, professional treatment and stored appropriately. If any outside agency requests this information, it will release after only written permission is obtained from the client or through a court order.

Dulce Luna Massage And Wellness provides six services:

  1. Medical Massage combines Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Massage, and Reiki.
  2. Rejuvenation Massage combines the heat of stones and aromatherapy with strokes to stimulate circulation.
  3. Relaxing Massage combines Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue Massage to release stress.
  4. Lymphatic Massage is a manual lymphatic drainage therapy to help the body to remove toxins, reduce inflation, and facilitate the circulation of lymph nodes.
  5. Mom- To – Be Massage is a special prenatal treatment for the mom-to-be.
  6. Reflexology Massage is the technique that applies pressure to specific points, call them flexors, on hands, ears, and feet that affect the entire body.

The Massage indicates to apply in the entire body except for the areas the client requested and the genitals and feminine breast (There are exceptions for the feminine breast). The client understands that it is NOT within the Massage Therapist’s scope to engage in breast massages of female clients UNLESS the client provides written consent before each session required by a Physician.

Understands that the client will drape during the entire treatment according to state laws (THE DRAPE ALWAY BE ON FEMININE BREST, GLUTEAL CLEAVAGE, AND GENITALS) and can request additional draping if desired. However, the client knows that Massage is entirely therapeutic and non-sexual.

The client understands that feedback is an essential element in the treatment. If the client becomes uncomfortable during the therapy, have the right to cease or refuse any treatment or ask for modification concerning pressure or modality. The Massage Therapist must adjust depending on the client’s request.

The session must end if the Massage Therapist feels uncomfortable for any reason. Likewise, the session will terminate by the Massage Therapist if the clients initiate verbal or physical contact that is sexual.

The client understands that this therapy should not construe as a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, and treatment. The Massage Therapist does not do a spinal manipulation and does not diagnose or prescribe any physical condition or mental disorder. Therefore, the client should see a medical physician, chiropractic physician, or other health care specialist outside the scope of a Massage Therapist’s practice.

The client freely permits to receive Massage Therapy treatment. The client now surrenders and releases the Massage Therapist from any liability, past, present, and future, relating to Massage Therapy and bodywork.

The client is responsible for explaining and discussing all physical conditions with the Massage Therapist to do their job professionally. Furthermore, during future sessions, the client agrees to update the Massage Therapist on changes in health status and medical history and understands that no liability on the Therapist’s part shall exist if the clients neglect to do so.

The client has read and understood the above and had all questions answered. Correspondingly, The client certifies that all information given is valid.

Release And Liability Disclaimer

The client acknowledges that My Dulce Luna/DBA Dulce Luna Massage And Wellness provide Alternative Holistic Natural Therapy. The client understands that the techniques combine the gentle touch of hands-on, like a massage, and diverse energy bodywork approaches and methods to reduce stress and increase relaxation.

The client comprehends that My Dulce Luna/ DBA Dulce Luna Massage And Wellness do not diagnose conditions, prescribe, perform medical treatment, or interfere with the prescription of a licensed medical professional. The holistic therapeutic methodologies that The client can submit do not pretend to replace medical care. The client must consider visiting a licensed physician or approved professional health provider for any physical or psychological condition The client may have.

The client apprehends that Alternative Holistic Natural Therapy sessions are complementary medical art that works well alone and in concert with other treatments and can complement any medical or psychological care The client may receive, except if The client’s physician prohibits it. All the procedures that My Dulce Luna/DBA Dulce Luna Massage And Wellness apply to The client will not replace conventional medical diagnosis and/ or treatment. The client will continue to follow instructions from a licensed medical physician.

While there is no protocol for hand positions, My Dulce Luna/ DBA Dulce Luna Massage And Wellness will intuitively determine where to place hands and which hand positions to use. The client is fully responsible for informing the Therapist immediately at any time if The client feels uncomfortable during the session. In that case, it will accommodate the request to switch positions or terminate the session.

The client acknowledges that long-term imbalances in the body sometimes require multiple sessions to facilitate the level of relaxation the body needs to heal itself. However, The client also learns that relief from the tension of stress can benefit the body in restoring itself. Finally, the client confirmed received an explanation that Dulce Luna Massage And Wellness do not pledge or promise any form or level of a miracle or cure for any specific (otherwise) condition.

The client assumes sole responsibility for the health before, during, or as the results of any sessions provided by Dulce Luna Massage And Wellness that may impact my health.

The client discharges My Dulce Luna/DBS Dulce Luna Massage And Wellness from all legal liability during the participation in the sessions and the locations where Dulce Luna offers the Alternative Holistic Natural Therapies at 896 N. Mill St. Suite 204, Lewisville, TX 75057.

The client accepts all information from My Dulce Luna/DBS Dulce Luna Massage And Wellness with full knowledge that any action resulting from the information received is The client’s complete responsibility.

Complaints to Licensing and Regulations

Texas Department of Health requires the Massage Establishment and the Massage Therapists to follow the regulations and present adequate, not expired, licenses.
If The client notices the licenses are expired or not present or the client detects any regulation broken. The client can file a complaint with the Texas Department of Health:
